For this project, I had to choose a product to design an ad for. I chose Erin Hunter’s Warrior Cats: Power of Three complete box series. I first took a photo of the box set using a Canon camera and a light table to give the bottom of the image the glowing effect and to make the image of the box cover and the book spine image stand out. I then illustrated an image of the faded cat to the side. He was given a faded and starry look to him as the description within the books given to him is that he was a ghostly figure whose pelt shimmered with stars. I then used the colors from the photo and the illustration for the type to help it stand out, but not enough to where the image was not being overshadowed.
